Meet Recap

The Holland High varsity tennis team hosted their third and final quad of the season. Hudsonville proved to be too much for Holland, Jenison, and Gull Lake, by winning all but one match and taking first place. The Dutch were led by the #1 doubles team of Jack Kalman and Neil VanFaasen who finished in 2nd place at their flight. Also scoring points for Holland were Jonah Gilmore and Aaron TenHarmsel, at #1 and #3 singles respectively. “I’m proud of the way our team battled with the extremely hot and humid conditions,” said Holland coach Kyle Kreps. “The other three teams here today are all very solid and well coached. We’ll rest up and get ready for our last two conference dual matches next week.” Holland will head to Holland Christian on Monday.
