The Holland Dutch football team ended the regular season playing it’s best football game of the season. Unfortunately they came out on the losing end of a 34-26 game to Wyoming tonight. The Dutch were led offensively by Zach Hop who had 24 carries for 124 yards and also completed 8 of 17 passes for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns. 5 of those passes were caught by Andon Grigg for 126 yards and a TD. All of this happened behind the offensive line of Alex Sanchez Camacho, Gio Garcia, Gregg Woods, Breckin Bigelow, and Alex Romero who played their best game of the season. The Dutch defense was also much stingier tonight. Junior Michael Gibson was in on 16 tackles on the night. The defense had many other great contributions by senior Quirke Burke with 11 tackles, senior Liam Morrison with 14 tackles, and junior A.J. Silva 11 tackles. Ashton Rasmussen and Kyle Torres played solid pass coverage for the dutch all night too. Coach Shawn McManus was extremely proud of the way the team bounced back from a tough week last week and thanks the seniors on this night for everything they have given to the program.
