Calling all volunteers! It’s that time of year again – time to sign up for the Holland Hundred! This event is the Holland Athletic Boosters #1 fundraising event, and we need everyone’s help – parents, athletes, alumni and friends! We all had a great time last year, and raised over $10,000 for our athletic programs.
What: Holland Hundred Bike Ride
When: Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, 2013
Where: Herman Miller (East 16th. Street, by the I-196 exit.)
We need the most volunteers Friday morning and Saturday morning. We need twelve (12) volunteers on Friday to post route signs. We need about 25 people Saturday morning for parking and registration. (There are some people needed at later times, but I will ask for those later.)
What’s in it for you? A free t-shirt to those who sign up NOW, funds for the athletic programs, and a great time!
Here’s the details!
Friday: 7:30 AM – noon (approximate): Twelve (12) volunteers (four (4) teams of three (3) volunteers) to place route signs. Each team must have one (1) car and be willing to drive the assigned section of the route. Map-reading skills and a cell phone also required. Team members can be students, but driver must be an adult. This task is very important – or riders end up at the wrong place!
Saturday: 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Twenty (20) volunteers for parking (800+ cars, all coming in to the lot at the same time!) Also need five (5) volunteers for registration – 5:30 AM-9:30 AM
Parking volunteers can be students, but we do need a couple of adults for supervision. Registration – happy faces who like to chat and answer questions!
Note – if we don’t get enough volunteers from this request, athletic teams will assigned time slots and be required to provide volunteers.
Information needed: Name, phone # (cell phone preferred), when you want to work (Friday or Saturday) and t-shirt size.

Thanks, and GO DUTCH!
