Stephanie Campbell has been hired as head varsity volleyball coach at HHS. Campbell replaces Mark VanHarmelen, who resigned following the 2012 season. Taylor Garcia Featured on CNN

Taylor Garcia, a sophomore on the Holland High School girls’ varsity swim team, will be featured on CNN’s “Headline News Morning Express” on Thursday, January 10th. Boys Soccer Players Earn Post-Season Awards

Three members of the boys soccer team were recently recognized by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association for their performances this season. Kyle Hernandez, a senior, was named to the All-State second-team and also earned Academic All-State honors. In addition, seniors Brian DeWilde and Connor Simpkins both earned Academic All-State honors.

Girls Swimming Team Wins State Title

The varsity girls swimming team pulled off a repeat performance on Saturday at Oakland University as they captured their second consecutive MHSAA Division II State Championship. The Dutch scored 311.5 points to best second-place Ann Arbor Skyline by 56 points. While this was truly a team victory for the Dutch, some individual performances were particularly noteworthy. Boys Tennis Earns Academic Honor

The varsity boys tennis team recently added ‘Academic All-State’  to its list of accomplishments from this past season. In addition to winning the OK Green championship, the team’s cumulative GPA of 3.51 ranked 7th out of the 79 Division I teams in Michigan. Congratulations, guys!

Boys Soccer Splits OK Green Championship

The varsity boys soccer team, currently ranked #7 in the state, wrapped up a share of the OK Green championship on Wednesday, October 10th by defeating Zeeland West.
