The Dutch traveled to crosstown rival West Ottawa on a cold crisp fall morning to compete in Pre Regional 5-1 on Saturday October 24th. On a course heavy with this weeks rain and in one of the top three Pre Regionals in the state, the Dutch managed a 6th place finish. Leading the way for the Dutch and qualifying for the Regionals, Sophomore Adrian Castillo, 16:49.04, finished 11th overall with a season PR. Junior Hunter Tripp, 17:24.28, finished 22nd overall and missed qualifying for Regionals by one place. Sophomore Dylan Chmura, 26.93, placed 24th overall, and missed qualifying for Regionals by two places. Senior Noah Whiteman, 18:15.31, placed 44th overall with a season PR. Sophomore Brayden Snyder, 18:23.75, placed 45th and was Holland’s fifth and scorer. Sophomore Jack Voss, 18:30.54, running in only his second championship race placed 49th. Freshman Noah Lambers, 18:42.92, running in his first championship raced to 54th place and was the second freshman overall. Thank you for the support of the team this year. We look forward to seeing our fans and supporters in the Spring during Track and Field season.
