On a perfect afternoon for Cross Country the Dutch traveled to Portage West Middle School for the Portage Invite. The Dutch finished 33rd in a highly competitive field. The Dutch were lead by Freshman Adrian Castillo, 17:02, finishing 97th overall. Freshman Dylan Chmura, 17:35.3, just missed matching his career PR by 1/10 of second ran and outstanding last half milemoving up 29 places. Great finish Dylan! Sophomore Hunter Tripp, 17:47.7, a career PR run, placed 198th as Holland’s third scoring runner. Junior Noah Whiteman, 17:54.8, a career PR and his first time under 17 minutes, placed 4th for Holland, 212th overall. Freshman Brayden Snyder, 17:56.9, a career PR and his first time under 17 minutes, placed 219th overall and was Holland’s fifth scorer. The following boys ran career PR at Portage, Freshman Jack Voss, 19:55.4, Freshman Francisco Hernandez, 20:52.2, Freshman Hunter Johnson, 21:40.7, Sophomore Robert Lubbers, 23:25.8, Diego Felix-Trejo, 24:24.3. The followoing boys ran season PR at Portage, Senior James Walton, 19:46.8, Junior Lief Christensen, 19:02.5 and Senior Ben Carter, 21:05.3.
