The Holland High Girls Varsity tennis team started the season at the West Ottawa Invitational today. The Dutch finished in 4th place. West Ottawa won the tournament with 26 points. Earning wins for the Dutch were Natalie Legg at #4 singles and the doubles team of Claudia Kurniawan and Lena Vanderbilt Mancinelli at #5 doubles. “It sure felt great to be back on the court after a long time away,” said Holland coach Kyle Kreps. “We are a very young team and today was a valuable experience for us. I’m pleased with the way we competed and excited for us to continue to grow.” Holland will next be in action after spring break, when they face Grand Rapids Union.
