The Lady Dutch headed to Otsego for the Bulldog Invite on a damp and rainy Saturday. The Lady Dutch placed 8th in a field of 12, all of which will compete in Region 3 for the MHSAA Regional Meet. Junior Olivia DeGraaf, 20:03.6, lead the Lady Dutch with a very solid effort, running a new career PR, placing 16th overall and earning a place on the All Invite Team! Great job Olivia! Finishing second for Holland was Freshman Alisa Mason, 20:45.7, a new career PR, good for 27th place. Nice race Alisa! Sophomore Julia Kooyer, 21:04.5, finished third for Holland and 37th overall, running a season PR. Freshman Meredith Walters, 22:10.5, continues to improve every meet, running a 1 minute 50 second career PR on her way to finishing fourth for Holland 60th overall. Senior Joanne Padron, 22;19.3, followed closely behind Walters, while running a eight second career PR en route to placing 63rd. Junior Lily Sharp, 26;40.5, also ran a 58 second career PR. The Lady Dutch will compete twice in the coming week; traveling to Hamilton High School for the third OK Green Jamboree of 2019 on Wednesday October 2 and to Portage West Middle School on Saturday October 5 for the Portage Invitational.
